Miss
Mop is my lovely little Abyssinian cross, and she is just so cute!
She was in the pet shop last week - I think that four weeks is far too
young for a guinea pig to be in a pet shop - when my mum went to get
guinea food. She looked so tiny and terrified in the pen with all
the other guinea pigs and big, potentially dangerous (to Miss Mop!)
rabbits, that my mum weakened at first sight. She went away and left
poor Miss Mop, but later on, when she was driving back from taking my
brother to ice hockey training, my brother and sister (I wasn't there)
starting going on and on about the poor little piggy in the pet shop.
As mum had been thinking about it all afternoon anyway, she gave in
and went back to pick up the little pig!
Miss Mop is now very happy, and surprisingly enough very human friendly
now that she's out of the scary pet shop. She is being very well looked
after by Freyja, one of my pigs who has taken her on as a foster
daughter! After all that change in the first few weeks of her life, I
think Miss Mop deserves to be honored. She is sweet, friendly, and a
special piggy.
