Flip
(top) and Spot (bottom) are my husband's dream pets. He had wanted
turtles for some time, and this desire was increased greatly when we
honey-mooned in Hawaii with all of the sea turtles. Flip and Spot were
found in China Town in Los Angeles while we were there shopping for
groceries. Flip and Spot are fun to watch because Flip likes to sit on
top of Spot and pretty much follows her everywhere. If she goes out of
the water to bask, he goes with her, and climbs on top, retracts his
legs, and just balances on her shell. If she goes in the water, he
follows right along after her. The only time they separate is when they
are eating. They are too loveable!
