Chipper
is a cockatoo and he is very smart. He is very good at getting
out of his cage. He barks, growls, rings like a phone, talks a lot and
likes to swing, hang upside down, and is trying to perfect the escape
artist.
Chipper demands a lot of attention. If you walk out of the room he will
ring like a telephone or even yell for someone to come back into the
room. When they say that these birds are "one-person birds" it is very
very true. He has bitten my wife several times but me only once. Our dog
Rudy is a very sweet and timid and likes to play with Chipper. She is a
mommy's dog and if Rudy starts barking, Chipper will growl at Rudy and
also start to bark. Chipper is very smart and very special to us.
