Chia
was saved from a pet store tank with a lot of other rats squashed
in with her. I held her and she was so cute, I just had to have her. I
was a bit worried because her eye was very dry and it looked like she
might lose it. She was very tiny, about the size of a mouse. I took her
home and gave her a big cage and lots of yogie treats, now look at her.
She's quite the piggie!
Chia is a very bouncy girl! She loves life, I think it's because she
knows she was rescued from that horrible tank. She likes wrestling with
people's hands and running back and forth on the couch. You can
literally toss her across the couch and she'll bounce back to you. She
absolutely loves treats! Yogies and Toob Snax are her favorite. She
needs to be kept warmer than my other rats because she has no hair. I
once even made her a little jacket, she didn't find it too amusing
though. She is very special to me because I never realized that an
animal could tell when they were saved, you can definitely tell she
knows... and I love her.
