When
this little ball of fluff came to us, she was the runt of the
litter, and like the Lord of the Rings halfling character... she was
definitely a "Fool of a Took!" She quickly weaseled her way into our
hearts though and gained so much weight that during her last visit to
the vet, she was labeled as "slightly overfed and overweight" - I guess
that would come from the occasional cheerio or yogie treat she's given
(ahem!). Pippin also inspired us to adopt three other little
fuzzbutts who were unwanted and came to us from neglected homes and/or
abusive former owners. We have never been happier with Pippin's playful
roommates: Gandalf (a dark-eyed white), Strider (a silver blaze), and
Arwen Star (a petite silver mitt). Hmmm, see a pattern here?
One of the reasons Pippin is our little sweetheart is her affectionate
nature. She's the only one of the bunch that adores our constant hugs
and kisses. She is also perfectly litter trained (which makes us
ecstatic!) and she's the only ferret amongst them that our cat Ming will
actually tolerate. Go Pippers! =) You're the best!
