I've
had Caicos for five years, since she was only ten inches long. She is a
complete and total sweetheart as far as Iguanas go, Very tolerant when
she wants to be. She's been a bright spot in my life, and still is. She
is the only iguana I know who cuddles when you pick her up, and she will
close her eyes and fall blissfully to sleep when you scratch her on the
head. If you look closely, you'll see she is modeling her necklace.
She recently was diagnosed with Kidney disease, and I am
treating her for this by misting her daily and soaking her in water for
10-20 minutes a day, every day. What can I say, she's the first real
reptile I've owned, and she started it all! Now I have two snakes, and three
geckos in addition to her, and she's still my favorite.
