Bandit
is a very special bird because he is so active and curious! He
is friends with our fish and visits them every day. (Even though he is
not supposed to climb onto the dresser). He also can say "Bandit,"
"Hello," and is working on "Night Night Bandit." So far he is able to
say, "Bandit Night." Bandit loves to say his name. Not only can he say
his name but he has learned that when he says his name he usually gets
attention so he says his name all the time! He can say his name slow,
fast, low, high, quiet, or loud. You never know how it's going to come
out. Generally, it is not common for Conures to talk, so Bandit seems
to have some talent.
He is a constant source of amusement and spoiled rotten! He squawks
when he wants attention (all the time) and speaks his own special
"Conure language" when he thinks no one is listening. He also loves to
bite his mommy's fingers, toes, and anything else he sees. He is a very
happy bird and I wouldn't trade him for the world!
Hi! I'm Bandit, and I'm a special special little boy. See, I do a lot of
really cute and special things, like hang from my cage door by one foot!
My mommy says I'm a trick bird. I also can say several things like;
Mommy, Night Night Night, Hello, and of course Bandit! (That's my
favorite thing to say). I love to play with all my toys (I have quite a
lot), and talk to the birds outside my window. I also love to eat! My
favorite food is pizza crust (as you can see)! Yum! I also like fresh
fruit, and my tasty seed. Sometimes I get a little noisy, and scream,
but that doesn't matter because my mommy loves me no matter what.
