This
is Oscar. He is a 110 pound male pot-bellied pig. Even though
Oscar is a boy, he dressed as a woman for Halloween. Ever since Oscar's
first Halloween, we have been dressing him up. From a ballerina to an
angel to a woman, Oscar has always portrayed a female on October 31. One
year he even wore a sports bra. Every day when I come home from school,
he greets me with short rapid snorts and kisses. Every night he jumps on
my bed, roots around for a couple of minutes and then settles down under
the covers as close as he can get to my leg (sometimes on top).
Although he occasionally rips up an assignment or two of mine, he is
always there with moral support to help me make it up. Oscar is very
intelligent as well. He can sit, stay, turn in a circle, unroll a carpet,
push a toy will wheels and even graduated from, dog obedience class with
top honors (he got a trophy). Oscar is the love of my life and I can't
wait to take him to college with me.
