Yoga, the Pet of the Day
Name: Yoga
Age: Three years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Albino Cranwells Horned Frog
Home: Garden Grove, California, USA

I purchased Yoga about three years ago from a little local pet shop. He was about the size of a nickle back then, now he's a little over six inches - that's a quarter next to him in the photo, so you can see just how big he has gotten. He's an Albino Cranwells Horned Frog, also nicknamed a "Pac Man frog." When he was small he was very active and hungry all the time. Sometimes he would even jump and snatch the food right out of my hands. Now he's quite fat so he's less active, that's what adult horned frogs do. They reserve most of their energy for breeding and eating. Yoga likes to eat nightcrawlers as a staple diet along with large goldfish twice a month and several hopper mice once a month. Yoga lives with me in my "frog" room and I hope he'll stick around for many more years to come. He is a very interesting pet.
