Hi,
my name is Poco Skip. I am a Paint Quarter Horse and pictured with
by best friend Tony.
I thought you would appreciate this picture of me rolling,
since I thought it would be appropriate to honor the Sept. 11 World
Trade Center Tragedy and the famous words of hero Todd Beamer; "Let's
Roll." Our prayers are with all of the victims of September 11, and
their families and loved ones.
Poco Skip is a mare, we call her Poco for short. She is a very gentle,
sweet, horse. In her prime days, she was shown Western Pleasure, but
her previous owners neglected to take good care of her in her golden
years. We were lucky to find her, and her best friend Tony, who have
been together almost their whole lives. They are both well taken care
of and pampered. Although she doesn't do any specific "tricks", she is
a wonderful trail horse, and all the kids in the neighborhood come to
our house hoping to get a ride on Poco.
