Sagebrush, the Pet of the Day
Name: Sagebrush
Age: Two years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Leopard Gecko
Home: Odessa, Florida, USA

Sagebrush is so special to me. He is a Pastel Lavender Morph which is a fairly rare morph! I've had him since he was around eight months and he is now two! On August 14, he became a proud father of two little high-yellow lavender babies, Hourglass and Axe! His mate, Sunflower, is a high-yellow lavender and lives with him through one half of the year.

Sagebrush lives in a 30-gallon cage which has his favorite house and toys!!! He is very docile and cuddly. When held, he will walk around on your hand and lick you. Like a lot of leopard geckos, he is pretty easy to take care of and is a good pet. Most people say that lizards are dumb but they are not. Actually, they can learn that you are the person who takes care of them, and they can learn their feeding schedules too. Sagebrush knows that he gets fed every other day at 9:00 pm and will come out and wait for his food. And whenever I open the lid to his cage, he comes out and looks up at me with his pretty little blue-gray eyes and I know he is something special.
