Kelly
the Iguana is special in more ways than one to us. In a house
full of parrots and a puppy, she is the one pet that is always calm,
even relaxed. She will ignore you when she wants to (wish I could do
that!) but she loves to have little scratches on her head. She will
fall asleep when her head is petted. She shares a room with the birds,
(tolerates them I should say), but has a sunny spot by the window
where she loves to sun and tan :-). Kelly is named after my husband's
baby sister who passed away only a month before we got her. Because
she is the calm in the middle of the storm that is our house on any
given day (as was her Aunt Kelly), and because of her Aunt Kelly's
namesake, she is very special to us :-)
