This
is my eight month old, registered Paint filly,
Keepmystreakinasecret aka Secret. The picture shown is when she was only
a few days old with her dam (mother), Me A Streakin. Her sire's name
(her dad) is Silk Secret, thats how we got her name, Keepmystreakinasecret.
Secret was born June 18, 2001 in Wyoming. Originally she was to be my dads
horse because he had always wanted a Paint, and I was to just work with
her. Well...so much for that idea, for my 8th grade graduation present,
she was given to me. I was so happy. Her and I are becoming great
showing partners, her first show she was at, she won the Weanling Paint
filly class, and ever since then she hasn't placed below fourth. My "big
dream" is to take her to the APHA World Show and compete in halter,
western pleasure, and english pleasure, but thats a long ways
away, so I had best keep to small shows. Secret lives with two other
horses, Raz and Viscount, and one rabbit, Jack. I have always loved
horses, my favorite breed being....well....the paint. The number
one horse quote (in my book) ever said is "On the sixth day, God created
Quarter Horses, and on the seventh, He painted all the good ones". Boy,
is that ever true.
