This
is PJ, which is short for Polly Jo, an Alexandrine Parakeet who
loves to eat when we eat! Her favorites are mashed potatoes,
spaghetti, and corn. Also a french fry will never make it out
of our house alive!
PJ is the boss of the house. She loves to take a bath in the pie
pan on top of her cage while I run the vacuum. I don't know why, but
the sound just makes her want a bath!! She is mainly my bird. She
wants to be with me everywhere I go, and eat or drink whatever I am.
Her favorite is soda pop, straight out of the bottle. She also
loves wine! One evening she drank a little too much, and had a little
difficulty getting back to her cage. Needless to say, I haven't let
her have wine since then.
Polly Jo doesn't really play any games, except that she does play with
the cat. She goes to the bottom of the cage, and he stretches up to
her, and they play back and forth.
