Rainbow,
clown of the birdworld, is a two-year-old rainbow lorikeet who
lives in Brisbane Australia with his family of parrots and cockatoos -
including lil' Chief, a Major Mitchell and Spike, a Galah. What makes
Rainbow special is his wonderful social nature with people and ability
to intimidate other birds twice his size. During the day Rainbow likes
to greet visitors by flying onto their shoulder and whistle loudly into
their ear, at night this changes to soft chatter usually with himself.
The bold beautiful colors enhance the rainbow lorikeets' reputation of
being the "Clowns" of the bird world.
