This
is Prince. He is a thoroughbred gelding, nineteen years of age. He
is a wonderful friend. He was rescued off the track. We purchased him
for $50 to make a legal bill of sale, he was going to be sent for
slaughter. His legs are crooked, and although he didn't have the correct
confirmation to race, he was broken out and trained to race anyway. He
suffered multiple injuries, and hence cannot be ridden more than a quick
walk or he will go lame in both front feet. He has lived with me, and
been loved, since he was two years old.
