Oreo
is our little cookie bunny. He is extremely affectionate, loving
to be petted and have his cheeks rubbed. If you pick him up, he will
lick your fingers. We haven't figured out how to get him to sit with
us on the couch when we watch TV, but usually the cat is in that spot
anyway! Oreo misses his best bun Chico, who passed away this spring,
but has a lot of fun with his new bun friend Toffee. He is also
learning to stand up to the playful 'whapping' and chasing from our
cat, Squeaker. Oreo and Toffee zip around the apartment together and
then spend some time snuggled up on the carpet, cleaning each other.
Recently we took Oreo outside for the first time to explore the
back yard. We weren't worried about him running away, because he kept
coming back to us for more petting! We wish there were more bunnies
as sweet as Oreo.
