My
name is Ransom, and I'm a betta splendens. I live by myself in a
one-gallon tank, because if I lived with other bettas I would attack
them. Nothing personal, it's just my nature. I have a red-and-clear
butterfly pattern on my fins - quite handsome, if I do say so myself.
My favorite things to do are flare my gills at my next-door neighbor,
Llama (another betta); eat; and build bubble nests in case I ever get
to meet a girl betta. I pretend to like my human so that she will feed
me more, but really if she were small enough I might eat her too! You
