On
August 21, 2002, I bought Ebony from my local Petsmart. Ebony was a
birthday present for my brother, but my brother did not want the
responsibility of her so I was happy to care for her so now she lives
with me. I guess you shouldn't get someone a pet for a present unless
you are willing to care for it!
The simple things please Ebony like some lettuce for her to eat or just
being in you're hands. I even promised to upgrade her cage to a
critter trail two. Black bear hamsters are a relatively new species and I
am happy to own one. Ebony is one of the best pets I ever had and I hope
she lives a long time.
