Crackers
is an adorable Lovebird. He is very very spoiled. He has a cage
that was made for an African Gray Parrot. He has toys that would over
stimulate a dog. He is the most spoiled Lovebird I know. He has a
whitish face with a little pink on the very top. He has a green back
with a gorgeous blue tail. He has a very light blue stomach. We bought
him from a pet shop (or mostly a bird shop!) called Pets Stop. My friend
Annaliese bought her Lovebird Peepers there, too. The funniest thing is,
they're siblings!!!
Every day he wakes me up (If I forget to cover his cage) and I take him
out. He climbs right onto my hand... well okay, not exactly. I have to
catch him first. Then he jumps on my hand, walks up my arm, and just
sits there on my shoulder. The more you move around the more he just
sits there.
Crackers' favorite foods are apples, millets, grapes, walnuts, and beans
and pasta. When you say, "Give me a kiss," he leans forward and opens
his beak slightly and licks your cheek. Crackers lives in my room and
loves to tweet. I let him fly around sometimes and he stops and looks at
the mirror. He tweets and tweets as if to say, "Who are you, Peepers or
something?" He is so adorable that no one can resist the face he gives
you when he wants to be taken out of his 'luxurious prison.' He is so
cute and he is the best bird ever!!!
