Tootie
bird is a loving, well-adjusted parrot who entertains her human
family greatly. Besides being very affectionate, she whistles several
tunes including Bridge over the River Kwai, and themes from the Magic
Flute and Beethoven's 9th Symphony. She is the queen of the household
and knows it.
When face to face with either of two resident kitties, she will approach
them until they back away. She loves to 'help in the kitchen' riding
around on my shoulder, sampling ingredients and saying 'ummm good!' She
says 'good morning sweetheart' even before the blanket over her cage is
removed in the morning. She also likes sampling human food at the
dinner table. Pizza is one of her favorites!
