I
found this one-pound bull frog at my favorite fishing hole.
What got my attention about her was that when I rubbed my finger
against the side of her head she would close her eyes and lean
into my finger. Just like a cat! I figured she wouldn't exactly
be safe, a "wild" frog being so friendly to a human. So I spent two
weeks trying to con my husband into letting me take her home.
Finally he relented and I've had her for almost three years now. She
will eat 50 crickets, 24 red wiggler worms, and 24 minnows a
week!! Between her and her food, my four cats are well entertained.
She lives in a huge tank in my office but I'm in the process of
conning my husband into letting me build a pond in the yard for
her.
