Jake
and Zephy are my eleven-year-old thoroughbred geldings who were
rescued from the race track. Other than eating as many carrots,
apples and peppermints as they can get, they love being dirty. No
matter what! The picture of Zephy was taken just moments after he
was washed - he rolled in the mud not a minute later. Jake is
very bossy and pushes Zephy around constantly. When I take Zephy
out on the trail, Jake goes crazy, running back and forth an
neighing for his partner. We can hear him from a mile away; he
has an extremely loud voice. Zephy hardly ever whinnies, he just
grunts when his dinner is being served. My boys love to travel
fast and we canter and gallop in the fields near my house. As
you can see, they are extremely cute.
