Angel
is a two-year-old parakeet. She has a constant
companion, Piccolo. Angel got her name because when we got her,
she was white all over except for a round yellow circle on top of
her head! Angel is much more social than her companion. Angel
loves to come out and sit on our shoulders. She likes to preen my
hair. When my hair was longer she would hide in it! Angel also
liked to sit on the playgym and watch everything going on around
the house.
Angel wants to be friends with our two cockatiels. Whenever they
are out together, she heads right for them. She never gets very
close because the moment she heads their way, they run away as
fast as their little legs can carry them. It's so funny to watch
her chase after two birds that are twice her size. Angel never
gives up trying though. One of these days she just might get her
wish.
