![Annie, the Pet of the Day](11.jpg) |
Name: |
Annie
|
Age: |
Five years old
|
Gender: |
Female
|
Kind: |
Goat
|
Home: |
Acton, California, USA
|
Annie
was born on the property of the house we just purchased, so
I suppose you can say we moved to her house. We all live in
Acton, CA.
She is very very sweet. She gets along well with both of our
dogs. In fact, our Cocker Spaniel likes to sleep in Annie's pen
in her straw bed.
Annie Goat loves fruit and grape leaves. Her normal diet is oats,
apple nuggets and Alfalfa. She was fat when we got her so we are
trying to cut her diet back a bit.
She is a talker. If she hears the sliding glass door open-she
immediately begins to make noises to come see her. She loves
company. She also follows you around like a dog would.
On occasions we get visits from other critters and she is a very
good Watch-Goat - she makes all sorts of noises to alert us of
intruders.
We feel quite lucky to have her as a new family member.
