My
pet is a red eared slider - kind of terrapin. Her name is Bambuc
(Bamboo). She is one and a half years old. My terrapin is special
because her kind is very rare in Israel and because it's an exotic
animal. She may live up to 40 years and is very cute and beautiful.
Bambuc is very affectionate and she loves to sit on my hands, she may be
there, without moving, for a long time and she isn't scared at all
because she has known me quite a while (approximately a year and a
half). I got her when she was 4 cm long (carapace length) and now she is
14 cm long. She loves feeding time and she likes to be on her island,
too. She lives with two more red-eared sliders who are smaller than her.
She likes to swim in her aquarium.
