This
is Janabie. Pronounced "wanna be" because he looks so much like a
mouse we say he must want to be one! He is a Dominant Spot, Banded,
Black-eyed Cream Syrian hamster. I know all this because I knew his
parents' owners and they told me. Janabie is a very unique combination
and took several generations to achieve. The spot and band gene have
washed out all of his color now that he is full grown, so it makes
him look white. None of his siblings look any thing like him! Janabie
has just fathered his first litter. His fiancee is a cinnamon umbrous
and the babies should look very special too. Most important of all,
Janabie is a gentle and friendly playmate to my children.
