Hi,
this is Joey. I rescued him from a petting barn at our local fair.
He was eight months old and pretty pathetic looking, lots of sores from
fly bites and quite thin. I thought he was a miniature donkey but later
found out he is standard size. I needed a companion for my horse, and
thought Joey needed some TLC. His best friend is Hoss, a 28-year-old
Tennessee Walker. Three years later and they are inseparable. This
picture is Joey hee-hawing because Hoss is being ridden out of the
pasture away from him! It is true, opposites do attract!
