In
this picture I am a one day old Guinea Pig, I was born very
early that morning (just after midnight)! My human bought my mom at a
pet store a month before not knowing she had a special little surprise
planned....me!!!!! He calls me "Angel baby" because
my moms name is "Angel"...I was an "only child"
which is uncommon is Guinea Pigs, and that makes me even more
special! My human knows that it is okay to handle me, because he read
a lot about my species! I love being held already! I like to
sleep in my humans hand! I'm an Abyssinian Guinea Pig, and I am so
pretty and sweet! I already run around my cage like crazy!!
My little baby guinea turned out to be a female, and I named her
"Precious"...she has turned out to be an extremely happy
little guinea pig! She wheeks so loudly any time she hears the
refrigerator door open, expecting a fresh veggie treat! When I let her
out of her cage, she dances circles around her mommy! She has so much
energy! She jumps up and down when its feeding time, and she never
gets enough! She loves to be held, only because she gets to explore...
she will crawl all over, sniffing everything in site! She is so
curious! She reminds me of a three year old child... so much energy
and everything is still so new and fascinating! During her "floor
time" (when I let my piggies scramble around outside of the cage)
she goes crazy! She runs what I call the "Guinea Pig
500"... she does laps around the floor at record speed! She is
truly special.
