Thumper
is a smart little bunny with quite a personality. His best
friend is the family dog, with whom he likes to play tag. His other
favorite sports include running figure eights through the living room
and leaping and twisting in the air. He loves most leafy green
vegetables, but makes his preferences well known. He house trained
himself by the time he was a week old and loves to come out of his
hutch to play. Thumper knows and responds to his name and other simple
commands, but often chooses to ignore the word "no."
He loves to eat biscuits, sweet bread, apples, oranges, watermelons,
grapefruits, in particular my note papers and tissue papers! He will
topple the rubbish bin and then search for tissues to eat! He doesn't
like outdoor activities. He loves to sleep in my bed. He loves taking
a bath and he enjoys warm water flowing on his body. He loves to hide
himself in some dark and cool places. When he is hungry, he will come
to us and scratch our feet to ask for food. He loves to drink water
very much.
Anyway, what makes Thumper special is his independence and
self-confidence. When I rub my chin on the top of his head and can
hear him grinding his teeth in pleasure, it makes my day. If I'm
really lucky, he will lick my nose to say thanks for being a great
Mom. He's very spoiled by me. I take Thumper out in the yard everyday
to run around and hippity hop across the grass, nibbling as he goes.
