This
handsome fella is Tefal. Tefal (Teef to his friends) is a
superstar - a totally funky pig with stacks of personality. Hobbies
include jumping up on anything where he can get a better view of the
world and liaising with the ladies! Also likes hanging out by the
fridge waiting for lettuce and cucumber to rain down!
Tefal was one of three baby pigs hidden inside Charlie, one of the two
females I had acquired a couple of months beforehand! I couldn't bear
to part with any of them. When he was born, he had an enormous head
which looked quite out of proportion to his body - hence his name
(from the tv ads for Tefal goods starring the men with the huge
heads??..anyone...??!!..aaah, never mind!).
Tefal loves his lady pig friends, especially Fred, but won't tolerate
any other boars. He's a real softie - he'll sit for hours grooming the
ladies, and purring at them. He also loves getting attention and being
groomed himself and will quickly curl up on your lap and go to sleep.
By day he is a free ranging pig, and potters happily about the house
with his piggy friends, most frequently to be found by the fridge. He
likes playing in the wine rack and jumping up on top of things to act
as watchman! By night, he is the pig defending the most sought after
box, which he will pull over the food bowl as he loves his nosh.
