Jean Ottomano is like a new baby in the house. Even though she
is little she gets into everything. If you take your eye off her she
runs around the room. When she runs she is low to the ground. It looks
like she is in the army. Her favorite treat is a Yogie, but she loves
the seeds when we carve the pumpkin. She is special because she is the
only pet we have. The worst part about taking care of her is that she
bites everything. We had to put a brick on top of her cage until we
got a new top, and she stills bites it. When I saw her in the pet
store her intelligence got me. Even though hamsters can make silly
choices, sometimes she makes smart choices. She will take longer but
she finds her way. Sometimes she takes it too far and she gets
stubborn. The second thing that got me in the pet store is when I held
her she was calm and gentle. When I took her home she couldn't wait to
get out of her cage. When she is bad we try to scold her but when she
looks at you, you can't scold her because she is so cute!
