Baby
was the first parrot I got. She was about six months old when I
got her. She was born in an aviary about 45 miles from my house. A
lady had bought her there and then had to go to Germany, so, she left
her with some local breeders who had many birds. When I first saw her
I knew she was special, she was so friendly and was not afraid to come
to me. I brought her home and she has taken over the running of this
house! She loves to ride on my shoulder and always jumps down into my
shirt to hide and play there. She goes outside with me, and is always
on the alert for danger. She will talk all day and her favorite words
are, Hello babe, and I love you! She has quite a few favorite words
and can get quite feisty at times.
Sun Conures are the clowns of the parrot world and they can be quite
loud for their size. She can hold her own against Mandy, my Macaw, and
the two cockatiels Love and Precious. She loves to give kisses and
will kiss you all day if you let her!!! She is so special, she has
changed everything since she arrived here.
