Calamity
Jane is a fabulous guinea pig with lots of attitude. Things
haven't always been easy for him; he ended up with a girls name due to
a misidentification at the pet store, he has been forced to move with
me three times, and he puts up with his feuding brothers with a calm
grace. Calamity knows when it is time to eat and isn't afraid to let
you know as well. He wheeks for parsley and carrots in the morning and
melon and broccoli at night. If you are not quick enough with the food
he will run over to the side of his pen and look at you from under his
hair, he is quite the coquette! He loves to cuddle and if you offer up
sufficient adoration and stroke his fur just right he will promptly
fall asleep on you. He has exciting dreams, often kicking his legs as
dogs do and then waking up and looking quickly around to make sure no
predator has snuck in to steal his treats.
