About Us
Pique-A-Boo, the Pet of the Day
Name: Pique-A-Boo
Age: One year and four months old
Gender: Male
Kind: Black Tail Prairie Dog
Home: Seattle, Washington, USA

This is Pique-A-Boo. He is a Black tail Prairie Dog. He is originally from Texas, but he now lives in Seattle, WA. I think he is special for many different reasons. To list a few, he gives me hugs, and he gives me kisses. He also grooms me. He cleans my eyelashes, eyebrow, ears and fingernails. He is very thorough. He does many things that make me smile. He barks when he is happy, he giggles when he thinks he is getting away with something. He has a very complex vocabulary. He even warns us when there is a stranger in our yard. He is always ready to play. He is curious too! Whenever I try to do a project, he must assist. There are to be no questions about it. And when he is tired after a long day of busy play and activity, he snuggles up to me and goes to sleep. Although he is not the best pet for many people, he is very special to me. I wouldn't trade him in for anything. Another reason I love him is that without him, I would not have been introduced to many of my best friends today. We were new to Washington state, and he helped to bring otherwise shy people into our circle.
