This
is Amigo. He is really special to me because he was a gift for
doing so well my freshman year in high school. He's a really loving
bird. I can't leave the room for a second before he starts calling for
me! He can't talk yet, but I kinda like it like that. When I come home
from school, he is waiting for me and always gives a cheerful call as
I walk in the door. He loves to have his head scratched and kissed. He
has a little dark feather that runs through his crest that is really
cute that mom says distinguishes him from other birds. In the mornings
he wakes me up around 7am (can't say I enjoy that much) so I take him
out of the cage and let him sleep on my pillow. If you leave him by
the window, he'll start to chatter away... I love it when he does
that!
