My
husband and I recently got married. Our first pet together was
Bugs! When we first got him, Paul had broken his shoulder and had
to spend many weeks lying on the settee. It was during this time that
Bugs first learnt to jump onto the settee to offer his creature
comforts to a sorry invalid and soon established himself as a proper
'house rabbit'. Hopping up the stairs, jumping on the bed, eating
house plants, 'climbing' onto tables (and into Christmas tree!) and
drinking the toilet water are some of his antics! He most definitely
rules the roost now and can be seen in the pictures on his two
favorite mats, where he spends most of his time rolling over onto his
back. He has a very strong personality, a quite bullish attitude, if
food is around he will endeavour to steel it at all costs - this
mostly occurs with unsuspecting guests who find themselves with a six
kg rabbit on their lap swiping food off their plate or even attempting
to snatch from their very own mouths! Even stealing the cat's food
wasn't a problem - he has now made a sport out of chasing the cat a
high speed all over the house! Basically he's not normal! but we love
him to pieces - even when he jumps on the bed at 3am and bites our
feet!!
