Ziggy
was adopted when he was three years old. His previous owners did
not want him anymore. :( Ziggy was very lonely and mistreated. In his
new home, he found the love and attention he so desperately needed!
Ziggy is very happy now and has lots of friends to play with. Ziggy can
say "Hi!", "Hello!", "What?!",
"Cracker!", "Sharon!" (That's his Mom's name),
"Uh-oh!" and "I love you!" When someone eats a
crunchy, noisy food (such as an apple) Ziggy will mimic the biting and
crunching noise, just like a cartoon! When he hears his Dad, John, brush
and floss his teeth in the morning, he mimics that noise too! If you
snap your fingers to a beat, he will dance and make a clicking sound
just like it. Ziggy loves to be sung to! If you sing to him, he will
dance for you! At night, he sleeps in a large cage upstairs near his
parents' bedroom. At the bottom of his cage, he has a carpet covered
kitty condo, which he uses as a night-time nest! Before we gave it to
Ziggy, we had it out on the living room floor for our cats. Since the
cats didn't use it, and Ziggy loved to play in it, we gave it to her
instead! Conure owners should try this! Ziggy even has
