Tera
is definitely a special bird. He's very lovable (if very loud!),
and he loves to be with people more than anything. No matter how many
toys he has, he would rather be sitting inside someone's shirt
chattering away. Even with clipped wings he manages to fly across the
room to sit with his favorite humans. He's extremely hyper, loves to
chew on wooden toys (or anything else within beak's reach) and hang
upside down in his cage.
His best buddy is
Echo the
green cheek conure, and when they're not nipping at each other's
toes they're preening each other's hard to reach spots. This is a
picture of Tera when he was about four months old - he looks very
different now! As sun conures tend to do, he's lost almost all of his
green and is now mostly orange and yellow. They grow up so fast!
