Mishka
and Jada were my first two ferrets (I got them as babies). They
stole my heart right away. They are brother and sister so they share a
special bond. Not too long after having these two I rescued three
more. Now I have five fuzz-butts running around. Mishka is the King of
the Squeaky Balls and Kongs; he will not let any of the other ferrets
touch them. Jada is the Sleep Queen. She has the oddest sleeping spots
in the house. Her favorite spot is in the bottom kitchen drawer (that
use to be my kitchen towel drawer - not for long). Mishka doesn't like
me, his mommy, to do any housework. Every time I go to clean something
he follows me and tugs on my pant legs or socks and tries to get me to
quit what I am doing to play with him, but if I was not doing anything
around the house he wouldn't bother with me at all. Jada loves to
follow me around the house and stare at me with her "Love
Me" eyes. She is such a sweetheart and loves to be fussed over.
Every ferret that I own loves to steal just about everything in
the house. Finding their hiding spots is the Key Goal. But they are so
smart that when I find where they are hiding one thing they hide the
next thing somewhere else!!! I love all of them very much. They are a
lot of work but it is worth every minute of it. To me every ferret out
there is special!!! Ferrets are not for everyone though, there
are many ferrets that need adopted from ferret shelters. The best way
to prevent this is to learn all you can before buying one.
