Meet
PeeWee, he's a little guy... but don't tell him that, he's
convinced he's every bit as big as his buddies at the pet store.
PeeWee is like a two year old on high doses of caffeine from sun up to
sun down. When he's not getting the attention he's sure he deserves,
he stands on his perch bobbing his head up and down really fast and
says "dancin" until he can charm someone into letting him
out of his cage.
PeeWee is a very picky eater, his pellets are a mixture of green,
orange, yellow and red...but he only eats the yellow pieces, and
that's only after he sticks it up the tube of his water bottle and
gets it wet. His favorite treats are tater-tots, orange juice and
green kool aid...but, his biggest weakness is Cool Whip, as you can
see by the pictures.
PeeWee's favorite pass time in the whole world is the little plastic
rod that opens and closes the mini blinds. He climbs all the way to
the top, takes a look around, and then slides down real fast like a
fireman on a pole...chuckling the whole time. He's also pretty crazy
about taking baths in the bathroom sink. He likes to have the water
running slowly and the drain closed so it's like a shower and a bath.
PeeWee is a joy to have around, he's so full of personality and
attitude...sometimes too full for his own good! He recently decided it
was fun to screech at the top of his lungs whenever the urge strikes
him. Not knowing any better (and desperate to stop the screeching) I
used to say "PeeWee" in a stern voice to get him to stop.
Little did I know that the only thing I was accomplishing was teaching
him to say PeeWee. Now he yells at himself when he screeches! My
husband I fell in love with PeeWee the second we spotted him and he's
brought us many hours of joy since.
