Ihop
is a very special rabbit. We rescued him a year and a half ago
from an owner who couldn't care for him any more. His favorite treats
are a small piece of apple just before bed, along with an extra
helping of Timothy Hay. His favorite things to do are taking walks
outside, around our home, and when inside, he loves to sneak into the
master bedroom, and get under the bed. He knows he's not supposed to
be there, however, and if we go in the bedroom, he thumps (because he
knows he's in trouble), and he runs out, and goes back into his cage.
Ihop is also quite the man, so to speak. We had him neutered in
September of 2000, and the vet told us he could be around our female
rabbit in a few days. We had our first litter of rabbits 34 days
later, which was a surprise to us all! We have since learned that a
male rabbit shouldn't be with a female rabbit until two weeks after
his neuter!
Ihop is a very affectionate rabbit, and enjoys his daily cuddle
sessions with my husband and I. He gets quite bent out of shape if
his routine is altered in any way.
