My
three rats are named: Blue, Beigy and Red. Blue is on the left, Beigy
is asleep in the middle on Blue's back and Red is on the right. He's
named Red because of his red eye!
I'm sorry I don't know how old they are. I adopted them from the Denver
Dumb Friends League, a not-for-profit shelter near me.
They are all Rex rats. They have corkscrew whiskers and fuzzy coats,
like hamsters. All three live in my apartment in their three-level
townhouse in Denver, Colorado, USA.
My boys are special because they were all abandoned at the shelter
before I adopted them. Beigy actually gives me little rat kisses on my
chin and Red talks out loud a lot. Blue is just a big fat waddling rat
who likes to box with Red. They have become the light of my life and
have helped to bring me out of a very difficult and depressing time in
my life. I can't help but smile when I see their faces peeking up at me
from their cage!
