Shelby
was my birthday gift last year from my Husband. He is truly one
of the family. We brought him home at only five weeks old and I finished
his hand feedings. Shelby was recently sexed through DNA testing and the
results were 99.999% male. He is learning to talk and his favorite word
is "Come Here." They are very intelligent and as mischievous as a
toddler! Shelby as all Macaws have massive beaks, but if treated with
respect you would be amazed at how gentle they really are with human
flesh. His favorite treats are sweet potatoes and unsalted cashews.
Shelby and my husband are the loves of my life!
