This
is a photo of my bunny, Yuki. His name is Japanese and means
"snow" (get it? "snow-bunny") He is a two year old
Netherland Dwarf and lives with me in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Yuki is a
very special bunny. As you can see he loves to pose for photos. He also
loves to play games of ball and tag with me. So far he understands about
fifteen words. Not only does he understand the recognition of these
words, but he also knows what they mean... so much for the phrase
"dumb bunny!"
This privileged pet goes with me to places that other pets could only
dream of going. Several times he has accompanied me to the pet store, to
the beach, to the school for show and tell, to church for the kids on
Easter Sunday, to the nursing home--I even brought him to work with me!
(He is so quiet no one even knew!) I first got my bunny because it was
the only pet, aside from a cat, that I could have in my apartment. At
the time I had wanted a dog, but now I have no regrets. Yuki has turned
out to be one great pet.
