Here
is my Belgian cross Thoroughbred mare, Margie. Margie is a very special
mare, at only six years of age she has shown strength through ability.
Whether it is showing or going for a nice trail ride, she has shown good
behavior and bravery. I show her in hunter/jumper and she just goes into
the show ring as brave as can be!! She is also a good friend, I talk to
her all the time, and I know she listens by giving me a nick, nudge or
nicker. Margie also has given me my confidence to ride again, previously
I owned a very hot-headed Thoroughbred mare who I fell off of a lot, she
made riding a chore! I said that I never wanted another mare again until
Margie came along, now she has given me the confidence to accomplish
anything!! She had even taught my mom to jump! She not only is my equine
partner... she is also my friend :-)
