Harvey
is quite a little fellow, sharing his joy and delight with
everyone he meets. He enjoys meeting people and putting on his act of
running, jumping and spinning in the air. Sit on the floor and Harvey
will come over and give you a little kiss. He especially gives kisses in
the morning when you put out fresh greens and water.
Harvey has the run of the house when we are home, but during the day he
is limited to the den and kitchen. His litter is in his cage, and the
only time he goes into his cage is to go to the washroom. He normally
sleeps in our bedroom, but when he is bad, out to the kitchen he goes.
He travels well (but really prefers to stay at home) and like all
rabbits doesn't really like change. I really never figured on having a
rabbit as a pet, but he is quite an affectionate little fellow. I live
in a high rise condo and he loves to go visiting the neighbors. He will
be visiting the woman next door (we leave our doors open so he can come
back and forth), playing in her unit, comes dashing back into mine to
visit the washroom, then back over to hers to play. Rabbits are really
quite remarkable animals.
