Dublina
is the cutest hamster I have ever had. She's lazy, doesn't use
her wheel, she sleeps about 16 hours a day in the wooden house I built
for her with my own hands, in a bed of cotton. Even if she is sleeping,
if I start cooking some spaghetti with tuna sauce, she immediately comes
out from her wooden house, and starts to bite the cage, and won't stop
till I give her a piece of spaghetti. She will eat the whole piece,
sucking it little, so is possible to see outside the cage how the
spaghetti slowly gets up to the mouth of Dublina till it completely
disappears. After that she cleans her face, and starts to bite the cage
again. if I take her another piece of spaghetti she refuses it... she
wants a piece of tuna now!! If I take a piece of tuna to her and she
will take it with her little hands and start to eat and taste it very
slowly. When she finished, she starts to bite the cage again. More
spaghetti? No... More tuna? No... Okay. I take her out from the cage and
bring her close to my nose, she starts to lick my nose for a while
(without biting). She just wanted to say "Thanks!" Then I take
her back to her house and she sleeps happily for hours.
