Kiwi,
my green cheek conure, is three months old. He is my newest pet,
and already he runs the household. He likes to go for rides on the
family dog, and he likes to bite the cat just show her that he can.
Kiwi's favorite perch is on my shoulder. He doesn't talk yet, but I am
trying to teach him. He loves to take baths in the sink, and likes
sticking his head in and out of the running water. For him, bath time,
is partytime!
I don't think Kiwi knows that he is a bird. He seems to think he is a
baby. He will lay on his back in my hand like he is being cradled.
When I am out of sight, he rings his bell to call me back. Kiwi is a
very special bird.
