My
pet is special because... We almost didn't get him. We were driving
around town trying to find a teddy bear hamster and we had no
luck. Finally, at our last stop, we found him. When we got home I was
trying to think of a name, my mom, my friend Paige and I were thinking
and thinking but we couldn't think of one. Then my sister came in and
said what about Zookie? So from that day on he has been a Zookie. He is
very active, nice and brave. A couple of times he has gotten of his cage
and walked right past the cat and is still living. He has two really
cool houses - one of them is a desert home because hamsters came from
the desert, the second one has all his tubes in it. He has two circle
tubes. We got him a out house one day and he doesn't really use it he
just stores his food in it. I know my whole family really loves him.
